Announcements for Week of May 10th

May 11th-15th are Days F,A,B,C and D

Phase 3 begins tomorrow along with the scheduled live sessions with teachers.  Please consult the school-based schedules for details. It is important for the middle school students in Phase 3  to check their Google Classrooms by 9am — everyday. The Zoom schedule is part of this student email and will be part of the new website. It is critical that students use the schedule as a guide only; they always should go into their Google classrooms so that their teachers can confirm and add more contact to the plan for the day or coming days.

Mr. Cameron is holding office hours tomorrow for any student who may have a question between the hours of  9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. or so. He will share the Zoom link to those office hours at 8:30am tomorrow.

We have said it many times but it could not be more true – the teachers are doing anAMAZING job.

The PTG is going to be giving a gift to the teachers and we are looking for additional contributions. Any amount is appreciated! Donations are accepted on the PTG website through May 18th.

A big thanks goes to our school nurses who have been working hard to return medications and  keep our student’s health information current. We appreciate all the care and time they have taken with our children!

Quarantine Buddies!

Would your elementary or middle school student like to be part of a High School Buddy Program? A lot has changed in a small amount of time with social distancing, virtual school, parents working from home or out on the front lines as essential workers, and so much more. With all this change and a lot of time at home, Susannah Snell (CCHS, Class of 2022) is starting a CCHS Buddy Program where high school students can meet over zoom or write pen pal notes once a week with elementary and middle school students. Your elementary or middle school student will be matched with a CCHS student to write back and forth, talk, play virtual games, help with school work, or just be a friend in a time that kids might feel like they do not always have someone there for them.

If your child is interested in being paired up with a High School Buddy please fill out the Google Form below!
