The PTG is looking for volunteers for the 2020-21 school year. There are so many ways to get involved and feel a part of our CMS community. Click this linkto view the many opportunities and sign up for one or two. By getting involved you’ll meet many other awesome CMS families and have a better idea of what’s happening at school. Please email cmsptginfo@gmail.com if you have any questions about a role. We hope to see you on one of these committees next year!

A huge thank you to all the parents that contributed to the PTG for the supplemental teacher appreciation gifts.  You raised over $800!

Due to the effects of the COVID-19 crisis, the Concord Middle School Building Committee (CMSBC) is announcing that following completion of the preliminary Feasibility Study, the committee will temporarily pause its work before proceeding forward with Schematic Design. The Committee is still firmly committed to executing the project as soon as possible and will re-evaluate the timing monthly until it is deemed feasible to continue work. For further details, see here: CMS Building Committee Temporarily Suspends Activity Due to Covid-19 Crisis

Quarantine Buddies!

Would your elementary or middle school student like to be part of a High School Buddy Program? A lot has changed in a small amount of time with social distancing, virtual school, parents working from home or out on the front lines as essential workers, and so much more. With all this change and a lot of time at home, Susannah Snell (CCHS, Class of 2022) is starting a CCHS Buddy Program where high school students can meet over zoom or write pen pal notes once a week with elementary and middle school students. Your elementary or middle school student will be matched with a CCHS student to write back and forth, talk, play virtual games, help with school work, or just be a friend in a time that kids might feel like they do not always have someone there for them.

If your child is interested in being paired up with a High School Buddy please fill out the Google Form below!
